I guess I should post another report...

Hello Everyone!

So, Tanya just told me that it's time to post another report.  Thing is, I've really not been using Xanga, so I don't know, it's hard to remember to post something when you never really go on the website!  Anyway, I will try and write something profound and exciting... haha, well, we all know the profound part probably won't happen!

So, since December 15th, when I last wrote something... and that was just asking for jokes, which, by the way, thanks so much, Ian, that was an awesome joke!  I sure used it and I thought it was the absolute best joke seeing as I'm not much of a fan of Paul Martin...  Anyway, my life.  Okay, so, I started a new semester in January and this semester was a slack one.  I am only taking three courses, Macroeconomics (I think I've only been to about 20% of the classes), Introduction to Canadian Business (good class, but my prof is arrogant, annoying and he looks somewhat like a dinosaur and is always trying to flirt with me and my friends, so he's pretty annoying), and then Philosophy of Ethics.  I definitely like the philosophy class the best.  Last week I wrote a midterm on ethical egoism, the moral theory that it is one's duty to act in his/her own self-interest.  Anyway, I go to school two days a week, I was working two days a week for my dad, but that ended a couple weeks ago as planned.  So right now I'm living in Salmon Arm (housesitting), doing homework when I can, going out and having people over WAY too often (as those papers just aren't getting done!) and basically just havin' a good time, spokin' like a true hick!

A couple weeks ago I turned the dreaded 22.  What a dreaded day that was, but surprisingly it turned out to be an incredably fun day as well as the rest of the week as my friends seemed to have decided that my aging should be celebrated (I was thinking more of mourning) all week!  I am now comfortable with being 22 and am actually having quite the good time with it! 

Hmmm, what else can I tell you?  HEY, how about my plans for the future?  Well, this is not going to be profound as I only basically know what the future until the end of August holds for me.  After that, well, I'm waiting on God to tell me what to do.  Anyway, on April 1st I will be starting work waitressing at the same golf club I was at last summer.  The golf club is 45 minutes from my house, so instead of living at my parent's house I will be living on Mara Lake in my brother-in-law's RV on my parent's lot at Crystal Sands.  The sandy beach and lake will be my front yard.  Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about it and my friends are all pretty jealous of me!  My younger brother will also be living there and we will be one happy family (or cramped family) in the 35 foot trailer.

So, that is my life, it's good, it's great, it's pretty peachy, actually.  If anyone is bored this summer feel free to come up and visit and have a few free days at the lake.  There is always room for tents!  Okay, have a wonderful day and maybe I will post another report of my life in 3 months... from the beach!

Hi Everyone!

I'm figuring out how to use Xanga, I'm pretty stupid when it comes to computers.  So, not much is new in my life.  I'm coming down to the Coast tomorrow (November 11th), so I'll probably see a bunch of you then, except for Dave seeing as he decided to take off to Mexico!  My goodness, I think he's avoiding me!  But yeah, umm, what's new.  I STILL live at home with my parents, I'm going to school in Kelowna three days a week, I work for my dad making furniture 2 days a week, go to church once a week, I'm a youth group leader every Friday night (except for tomorrow night of course, long weekend, I get a night off from my crazy grade 8 girls!), umm, I go to bible study on Tuesday nights, and there you guys have my life.  I do some homework sometimes, I go out with friends too often (seeing as my grades aren't quite as good as they were at the beginning of the semester!), and for those of you who haven't seen in a long time, I still love to talk, I still am quite loud and I still am kind of crazy.  If anything I've gotten more crazy.  But yeah, so I just wanted to show you all that I do know how to post a thingy, not sure what it's called, I learned how to about 3 minutes ago.  So there you go, I learned something new tonight!  Ok, see you guys on the coast tomorrow, and see anyone else (I don't think any of my non-coastal friends use Xanga, I sure didn't before Dave made me) whenever I see you!  Okey dokey, buh bye for now!
